Of my father-in-law who passed away November 2, 2008. Michel was the kind of guy that you couldn't help but like (even when he was driving you crazy!).Things I will miss about him: I'll miss trying to translate his crazy "jeux des mots" (l\play on words/puns/etc.) into English. I'll miss talking politics, even though we hardly ever agreed! I'll miss his uncanny ability to pair wine and food. I'll miss our smoke breaks (even though I don't smoke anymore I used to go outside with him during those long family dinners). I'll miss his generosity and love.
Fab told me you said that I had become like a daughter to you --- well Michel, you were my second dad --- merci pour le temps que j'ai pu avoir avec toi beau papa. J'espere te revoir un jour au ciel.
I love this picture!!! It is exactly the picture that I want to keep of my dad. It makes me feel happy!!! As you said papa: "On fait comme on a dit". We'll see each other again someday.
